FLIGHT BOOKINGS

Are bookings required for your tours?
Advance bookings are required. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to be certain of being able to fly during your stay in Tuscany as well as to be able to take advantage of rescheduling your flight in the event of bad weather conditions.
During the Christmas – New Year – Easter period, it may be necessary to book even more in advance due to these being extremely popular periods.

Do children pay full price?
ENAC regulations require children over the age of 2 years to have their own seat and therefore, the price is equivalent to that charged for an adult.
Children under the age of 2 can fly free of charge, each one sitting with an adult.

When is the best time of day to fly?
Any time of day is good for flying, as long as the weather allows.
We recommend booking for the morning or evening in spring and summer, and for the central hours of the day during the autumn and winter months, This will allow you to take advantage of the best light for your photos/videos as well as the best weather when you stop off on your tasting tours in Montalcino – San Gimignano – Elba – Capraia.
Are private tours available with exclusive use of the helicopter?
The only way to guarantee a private tour is to book all five seats on one of our Airbus H125 helicopters.
I’m afraid of flying, heights and confined spaces, should I think about taking one of your tours?
Our helicopter tours are an extraordinary experience and offer you breath-taking views over some stunning locations in Tuscany. However, if you are afraid of heights, confined spaces and flying in general, this might not be the experience for you.

How do I get to the Heliport?
Pratello heliport can be reached in two ways:

Is there a car park at the Heliport?
Pratello Heliport is located in the open countryside with lots of space for cars, motorbikes and caravans of any type.

What happens if I arrive late?
You need to be at the heliport 30 minutes before your tour leaves, so that you have the necessary time to check documents and listen to a safety demonstration from the pilot, on-board and outside the helicopter.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, the helicopter will carry out the tour with the passengers present at embarkation at the arranged time and at this point, no refunds will be owed for the flight.
In the event that your package includes a total exclusive flight (5 people), it may be possible to delay departure until you arrive, provided that this is agreed with the crew and does not affect any other flights scheduled that day.
